Have you ever experienced a certain chilling sensation with someone you have just met? Or maybe they were unusually chipper and energetic or clearly seemed to be more on the negative end of things. In a metaphysical realm, the sensation might be connected to someone’s aura. However, the question is what is an ‘aura’ and how? Now, let’s dive into this issue and see the aura world together.

What is an Aura?

 An aura is defined as a non-visible energy filed that surrounds each and every organism in an apparently animated way. This area is held to be a mirror depicting the emotional, mental and spiritual situation of every person. This is like a personal brand of energy, which can be sensed or seen, in a way that is available to those who are sensitive enough, by the use of their senses.

 The concept of auras refers to the field of energy centered on a person that is expressed in different layers, each of them corresponding to some specific parts of their personality. Various layers of color may be present – these could be of different sizes and hues depending on the person’s emotional and mental state.

Colors and Meanings 

Aura and colors have been closely related in many cultures and are one of the most interesting things about auras. Every aura color carries a specific symbolism; it may be peaceful, playful, or mysterious and it tells a lot about a person. Here are a few common aura colors and their meanings: 

 Red: An intense vivid color that is generally synonymous with passion, energy, and courage. The red aura can be used to depict a person who has inner strength and is not afraid to speak up.

 Orange: This tone indicates that the person is ready for a new beginning and willing to explore new ideas. Folks with a yellow aura are reputed to be the most open-minded people, full of curiosity.

 Yellow: For yellow, it is usually associated with joy, intelligence and optimism. An individual with a yellow aura can be optimistic and cheerful, as they are sunny in their own way and have a good attitude towards life.

 Green: Green auras stand for those aspects of the nature and person’s behavior including balance, growth, and healing. People who shine green could be the ones that have got the strong connection with nature and are probably the ones with the caring and nurturing natures.

 Blue: The color of peace and interaction is blue. It also implies to empathy. Hypothetically, someone’s blue aura may suggest a state of serenity and sympathy, wherein he/she is able to attentively listen to and guide others.

 Purple: Purple embodies the spiritual, intuitive, and wise aspects of the human being. Such people, with purple auras, can go deeply into themselves and have very strong spiritual minds.

The Layers of the Aura

It is not only colors that are in the aura; each has different layers where each layer represents a certain aspect of the person’s being. The bubble can get up to several feet wide, but this may vary between people depending on their emotional state.

 Physical Layer: The layer at the first level is of physical health and is linked to the body. It may reveal any underlying health conditions or strengths that are present in a person.

 Emotional Layer: This layer expresses the individual’s current emotional state at the corresponding moment. If someone has a collection of very strong emotions, they may reflect that in this layer.

 Mental Layer: The fourth category concerns the cognitive part of a human’s mind, which is associated with his thoughts. The scribble may not only show what person thinks about something but also his or her values and mental state.

 Spiritual Layer: This would be the outer layer of the personal identity wheel which is connected to a person’s spiritual beliefs and connections. It is possible that this layer will be the most personal of all and convey the spiritual progress and mind awareness of the person.

Perceiving Auras

For some people, auras appear naturally, but others may have to practice and acquire the skills required to see this energy. Here are a few techniques that people use to sense auras: 

 Meditation: Meditation can effective in quieting the mind and bringing one’s awareness to subtle forms of energy field.

 Visual Exercises: The aura vision learning is achieved by focusing on space surrounding a human being or an object, particularly against a neutral background. Such observation trains the eye to perceive an aura.

 Energy Sensitivity: Doing energy healing or similar works might increase the sensitivity to auras and other energy fields.

Benefits of Aura Awareness

Understanding and becoming aware of auras can bring several benefits:

 Self-Reflection: A human being can grasp his own aura and consequently get guidance into the state of his emotions and mind that assists him make valuable amendments that will have a positive impact on his life.

 Improved Relationships: When one senses the aura of other people, he/she can know the mood and the tendency of those people that is why there is better communication and relationships.

 Healing and Balance: By developing an understanding of how energy blocks or imbalances can occur in the aura, people can take steps towards resolving them and may therefore attain more balance and harmony in their lives.
